01 — Remote
Handheld remote
The simplest option and the one most systems ship with. It works, it needs no wiring beyond the motor itself, and it is entirely adequate for a single opening. Its weakness is that a remote is an object that can be mislaid, and on a multi-opening patio juggling one remote across several channels gets tiresome quickly.
- Best for one or two openings.
- No additional wiring beyond the motor.
- Consider a wall control as well, not instead.
